Sascha Dua is a really lovely lady, kind and compassionate and clearly knows what her patients need. She broke the news of my cancer to me in a gentle fashion, realising that probably a great deal of what she was saying wasn't necessarily being taken in because of shock. To this end she then offered to see me again in clinic whenever I needed it. Like a fool , I tried to deal with the diagnosis on my own, and not bother her. However Sascha was wise to this and before long I was whisked back to see her. The difference that that half hour made to me was immense. I felt safe and secure with her and able to face the operation I needed to have. Sascha has a great sense of fun which really helps to ease the tension you are feeling. Oh and she is a great surgeon - really skilled. She had led me to believe all along that it would probably be two operations and I have escaped with one. This is because she and her wonderful breast team worked so hard on my operation day - allowing her to remove all the nasty cells in one go . My breast hardly looks any different than before which is really confidence boosting. I would really recommend Sascha Dua . Breast Cancer are two really scary words and Sascha has helped me to face the fear they bring and look forward to the future ( one day at a time) with hope. Most importantly don't try and be strong on your own - take up Sascha's or the breast care nurses offer of extra support if you need it. It truly makes all the difference when you finally realise that .

The time I found out I had a lump in my breast I was treated with kindness and dignity and everything was explained to me what was going to happen before and after the operation. I could not hope for a better hospital and carering staff I would recommend anyone with problems to visit as soon as possible

When Miss Dua told me I had breast cancer the first thing she said was that it was treatable. That put my mind at rest. Every time I see her she has a smile on her face. We are very lucky to have her at Chelmsford.

Sasha dua is a very talented lady,my tumour in my breast was very large and I have been able to keep my boobie ,which is a miracle rather than have a mastectomy, my breast has been left near perfect due to her expertise, I think she's the best ,so professional and a very jolly sensitive and funny lady I felt like I've known her for years and she makes u feel completely at ease at this traumatic time. Sasha at incredible speed organised the ongoing revelant treatments, appointments an scans etc which was fantastic, and kept us informed at all times, so I thank her from the bottom of my heart and all the lovely staff at the Nuffield Brentwood love Tracey and Paul x

I have just had a breast cancer lump removed by Sascha. She has been very caring and has kept both myself and my husband up to date with the next part of my treatment. She is a very bubbly character and happy to answer all our questions and help us through this in any way that she can. I feel happy that I am in safe hands.
